Aurora Advanced HE, development programme for all people who identify as a woman. It is a unique partnership initiative bringing together leadership experts and higher education institutions to take positive action to address the under-representation of women in leadership positions in the sector.

China Crafts week

Key note presentation titled Innovative Design of Traditional Crafts’ at the first China Crafts week in Hangzhou. This paper discussed the importance of marrying the traditional with modern innovation to include collaboration in order to produce progressive new and exciting outcomes.

Category judge 

Category judge for the first BBC Woman’s Hour, Victoria and Albert Museum and Crafts Council’s Crafts prize which was launched to celebrate the 70th anniversary of Woman’s Hour.

Creative Cultivator

Consultant working with Cultivator a collaborative programme funded by European Structural and Investment Funds, Arts Council England and Cornwall Council.
Particular strands of work include skills development, bespoke support for graduate start-ups, exploration of new export markets, sector specific knowledge exchange, peer support programme and a business co-investment programme.

Creative Lead for collaborative partnership with Hole and Corner magazine and Port Eliot Festival bringing together practicing makers, students & graduates (Makers, Illustrators, Architects & Interiors) and academics.

Marvellous Mechanica – Collaboration working with artists Martin Smith, Nik Ramage and Jim Bond to produce a mechanical device that moved ping pong balls across the House of St Barnabas.

Chair Peninsular Arts Gallery Programming and Advisory Group 

The programming group represents members of staff from PU Faculty of Arts and Humanities, External Relations and key external partners and it’s primary purpose is to develop the public exhibitions programme for Peninsula Arts. As chair I initiated the joint exhibition between Peninsula Arts and Plymouth City Museum and Art Gallery celebrating the works of internationally recognised artist and sculptor Peter Randall-Page.

This collaboration is the large exhibition of Randall-Page's work seen in the south West to date.
